Seeing bonuses as free money is an illusion. One example advertised 5,000 INR free for signing up and depositing. Now, that is real money, and that advertisement is real, but conditions that come with it dictate if that money can be withdrawn. In this case, if a game has a 3% house edge, that 5,000 INR bonus with 35x play-through only costs 5,250 INR to cash out. Basically, that player signed up for free money and lost 250 INR.
Not all bonuses are designed to work this way, and some actually offer value. Assessing the wagering requirement, the eligible games, and the house edge can help determine if the bonus actually has value. Aviator players that actually do some math before they claim a bonus are best positioned to determine which bonuses actually offer value.

How Bonus Evaluation Works
A mainstay of all bonuses across every platform is that they all have the same formula.
Cost of clearing bonus = bonus amount x wagering requirement x house edge. If cost of clearing the bonus is less than the bonus itself, then the bonus is actually worthwhile. If the cost of clearing the bonus is greater than the bonus itself, then the player is actually paying to receive free money.
This logic can be applied to all bonuses, be it welcome, reload, cash back or free bets. While the values may differ, the logic remains the same.
Welcome Bonus
The primary deposit bonus, usually a match: deposit 5,000 INR, get 5,000 INR bonus funds. Each platform, and its available promotions have different percentage matches and caps.
When it works for Aviator
Aviator’s house edge is 3%. A 5,000 INR bonus with a 20x wagering requirement means the player has to wager 100,000 INR to cash out. The clearing cost would be 3,000 INR. The bonus gives back 5,000 INR, so the player gains a net of 2,000 INR.
At a 25x requirement, the player has to wager 125,000 INR, and the clearing cost would be 3,750 INR. The player still gains a net of 1,250 INR.
At a 30x requirement, the player would have to wager 150,000 INR. The clearing cost would be 4,500 INR, and the player would gain a net of 500 INR. The player would gain barely a net positive amount at this point.
At a 35x requirement, the player would have to wager 175,000 INR, and the clearing cost would be 5,250 INR. The player would lose a net of 250 INR in this case. The bonus is then negative to the player.
The breakeven point
The breakeven wagering requirement for Aviator at a 3% edge is about 33x. Wagering less than 33x means the bonus has a positive value. Greater than 33x means the bonus has a negative value. The player would check to see the exact requirement before redeeming.
Eligible games matter
Often bonuses will restrict what games are eligible. If Aviator is excluded, and only slots are eligible for the wagering, then the numbers would be a lot different. At slots, and a 4% edge with a 35x requirement, the clearing cost would be 7,000 INR. Net loss: 2,000 INR. Always verify that Aviator or crash games count toward the wagering requirement before activating.
Free Bets
A free bet lets the player place a wager without using their own balance. If the bet wins, the player receives the profit (payout minus the free bet’s nominal value). If it loses, nothing is lost.
Expected value
A free bet is worth between 50% and 70% of its face value depending on how it is used. A 1,000 INR free bet on Aviator is worth approximately 500 to 700 INR in expectation.
Optimal strategy
Free bets should be used at higher cashout targets than normal play. The reason: the downside is zero. The player loses nothing if the round crashes. With personal funds a 1.50x target makes sense because it wins frequently. With a free bet the player gains nothing from frequent small wins — the free bet nominal value is subtracted from every payout regardless. A higher target maximises the profit when the round connects.
A 1,000 INR free bet cashed out at 1.50x returns 500 INR profit (1,500 minus the 1,000 nominal). The same free bet cashed out at 3.00x returns 2,000 INR profit when it connects. It connects less often but the expected value is higher because the risk cost is zero.
Practical targets for free bets on Aviator:
- 2.50x to 4.00x for balanced expected value
- Auto cashout set at the chosen target to avoid hesitation
- Single round, single use — no reason to split the free bet across rounds if the platform does not allow it
Common restrictions
Free bets may have expiry dates (24 to 72 hours is typical), minimum odds requirements (less relevant for crash games), and maximum win caps. A free bet with a 5x maximum win cap on a 1,000 INR free bet limits the profit to 5,000 INR regardless of the multiplier reached. Check the cap before choosing the cashout target.
Cashback
A percentage of net losses returned over a period. The platform calculates total bets minus total wins for the period and returns a percentage of the net loss.
How it works in practice
The player loses 10,000 INR net over a week. At 5% cashback the platform returns 500 INR. At 10% cashback: 1,000 INR. The cashback appears as bonus funds or real balance depending on the platform.
What cashback actually does
Cashback reduces the effective house edge. Aviator at 3% edge with 5% cashback on losses creates an adjusted edge of approximately 2.85%. The difference is small per session. Over months of regular play it accumulates.
Cashback has genuine value for the player who already plays within budget. It softens losing weeks without requiring any change in behaviour. It does not have value as a reason to play more. The player who increases volume to earn higher cashback pays more in edge than the cashback returns.
Wagering on cashback
Some platforms attach wagering requirements to cashback funds. Cashback with 1x to 3x wagering retains most of its value. Cashback with 10x or higher wagering loses much of it through the clearing process. Check the terms.
Reload Bonuses

Bonuses on deposits after the first. Typically smaller than the welcome bonus — 25% to 50% match rather than 100%. The evaluation follows the same formula.
A 25% reload on a 4,000 INR deposit gives 1,000 INR bonus. At 20x wagering and 3% Aviator edge: 600 INR clearing cost. Net gain: 400 INR. At 30x wagering: 900 INR clearing cost. Net gain: 100 INR. Marginal but positive.
Reload bonuses tend to have lower wagering requirements than welcome bonuses. This makes them more likely to return positive value. The player who skipped the welcome bonus because of high wagering may find reload offers worth activating.
Loyalty and VIP Rewards
Regular play accumulates points or levels that unlock benefits over time.
What loyalty programs typically offer
- Increased cashback percentage at higher levels
- Exclusive free bets not available to new players
- Faster withdrawal processing for VIP tiers
- Personal account manager at top levels
- Birthday and holiday bonuses
The trap
Forcing play volume to reach the next loyalty tier costs more in house edge than the tier rewards return. The player who naturally plays twenty rounds daily at 100 INR should not increase to fifty rounds to reach a higher level. Thirty additional rounds at 3% edge cost 90 INR per day. The loyalty perk at the higher tier rarely exceeds that daily cost.
Loyalty rewards have value for the player whose natural volume qualifies them. They do not have value as a target to chase.
Which Bonuses Work for Aviator
Aviator’s 3% edge makes it one of the best games for bonus clearing. Lower edge means lower clearing cost per rupee wagered. The same wagering requirement costs less on Aviator than on slots (4% edge) or roulette (2.7% edge).
Bonuses that return value for Aviator players:
- Welcome bonus with wagering under 33x where crash games are eligible
- Free bets used at 2.50x to 4.00x targets
- Cashback with wagering under 3x
- Reload bonuses with wagering under 25x
Bonuses to skip:
- Any bonus where crash games are excluded from eligible games
- Welcome bonus with wagering above 35x
- Cashback with wagering above 10x
- Any bonus where the clearing cost calculation exceeds the bonus value
What the Aviator Player Should Do
Check the bonus terms first, then run the formula. If the clearing cost is less than the bonus and Aviator counts toward the wagering, claim the bonus. If the bonus is not clearable, then deposit without the bonus and keep the balance free for an immediate withdrawal. A 5,000 INR bonus with a clearing cost of 5,250 INR is not a bonus. It is a 250 INR fee. A bonus that brings in clearable funds.
